7 reasons why reviews sell books - and a contest win!!

First, I am excited to say that when I opened my email today there was a notification from Goodreads that I won one of their book giveaway contests! Hurray!! :) I beat out 884 other people and won a copy of Circle of Fire by S.M. Hall. Now I just have to wait 4-6 weeks for the book to arrive... sigh...

In other news, I came upon a fantastic article today that talks about the importance of leaving reviews for books you read. I personally try to leave reviews whenever I can, because as a self-published author I know how much I look forward to getting reviews! I need them to build credibility, and also to expose any flaws in my writing so that I can fix them.
