This was a book club read; otherwise, I don't think I would have ever picked it up. It was a really bizarre book, from the point of view of an autistic young adult. I'm not sure that I liked it, but it was like driving past an accident where you know you should just look away but you just can't seem to do it.

It's a shame that you didn't like this, as I think it's a fantastic book. The 'voice' of the main character is so authentic, that you are almost fooled into thinking that the boy in the story is real.
